LOVE BALLS

In keeping with all things health and fitness, I wanted to share with you all a delicious recipe for my LOVE BALLS.

These little tiny coconut filled balls have everything you need in them for a healthy snack on the go or as a 3pm pick me up with a cuppa tea. They are healthy , easy to make and most of all delicious!

Below is my step by step guide on how to make these cute little nutritious protein LOVE BALLS.

Ingredients

1 Cup Raw Almonds
1 Cup Raw Cashews
2 scoops of Protein Powder
Handful of Dried Apricots
Handful of Pitted Dates
Teaspoon of Cinnamon
Teaspoon of Cacao Powder
Teaspoon of Vanilla Essence
Desiccated Coconut

Appliance needed

Food Processor OR Blender

1. Process or blend the almonds and cashews together till they are crumbly

2. Add the apricots and dates then blend till all mixed together ( sometimes it gets gluggy and stuck, so turn off appliance and mix around with a knife to get the stuck bits off the sides)

3. Put in 2 scoops of vanilla or chocolate protein powder along with the cinnamon, cacao and vanilla essence and blend together - adding a tablespoon of water so it all sticks together
You want the consistency to be stuck together but not wet.

4. Take out the mixture and make a teaspoon sized amount , roll into a ball and then roll it through some desiccated coconut and place in the fridge to set.

Your LOVE BALLS will be ready in about an hour!

Place some out when friends come over, or in the office and people will be very impressed..
"What?! YOU made these?".... Yes  ... Yes you did!

Don't eat too many all at once as too much fibre and protein isn't the best for the digestive system.
( Helllooooooo bathroom...yep too too much info...)  ANYWAY..

Enjoy these little balls of health, and know that your sweet and tasty treat is packed with love and also all the right fruits , nuts and proteins to keep you full for longer!

LOVE!

Casey
