Sometimes taking it back to basics can be the most liberating thing. With so many magazines, clothing stores and advertisements spewing out colour left right and centre, it can be so confusing with  

'what's in this season.'   Floral, stripes, spots, leather, feather, fur... blah blah blah...    

So how do we keep our closets 'on-trend' through all four seasons, without having to go shopping every second week to keep up?....   BLACK AND WHITE... That's how!..

At the end of each season I like to stock up on a few black and white pieces in different styles and textures and then play around ... or in this case dance around, while working out ways to put them all together.  

Ok, so turn your iTunes up, and go find your black and white pieces, and see what you come up with. Don't be afraid to put things together you wouldn't generally, and even the cheaper pieces in your closet can look just as expensive as the rest when mixed up. Don't be a fashion snob ;)  Some of the best fashion trends come from our own closet  !
